Seven Level T-Type Switched Capacitor Inverter Topology for PV Applications

چکیده

The conventional neutral point clamped (NPC) multilevel inverter topology needs voltage balancing circuits to balance the dc-link capacitor, number of component count is high and output half input which increase size source side dc/dc converter in PV applications. In this paper, a new seven level developed. proposed has self-voltage boosting capability using floating capacitor boost one voltage. topology, no additional sensors are required for stability, results minimizing complexity designing inverter. direct link between mid-point capacitors significantly reduces leakage current common mode A thorough comparison developed recent suggested topologies carried out set benchmark due its lower switch higher gain. verified simulation prototype hardware model discussed with dynamic load variations. efficiency 97.1% @200W low as 88.1 % @ inductive load. THD 17.01% 19.3% I experimental results.
